Default Assistance importing Outlook 2000 data file from CDROM

Hello
I purchased a new computer, and am attempting to import my Outlook 2000
backup file from CD-ROM to Outlook 2003. I keep getting a message stating
that I do not have permission to access the file. Is there a recognition
problem between the two verses (2003 and 2000)? Our whole contact list is in
danger...all assistance is welcomed. Thanks
john

Please copy the PST file from CDROM to the hard drive and remove the
read-only attribute.

Do NOT import, and remember if you wish to use an OL2003 format pst you need
to create a new pst and copy old data to this, and set the new pst as
default
