pst file option missing under new outlook data file dialog

Default pst file option missing under new outlook data file dialog

When I try to add a pst file using File - Data File Management... - Add...
there are no items available to add (pst for example).

You might want to ask your network administrator if they've blocked .pst file access.

Default pst file option missing under new outlook data file dialog

I'm using Outlook in an unsupported environment. I uninstalled and
reinstalled office 2003 and my problem was resolved. For now it is a mystery.
