Outlook Send / Receive will only work after reboot on the first opening. If
Outlook is closed and reopened, send/ receive doesn't work. After closing, ctrl - alt- delete does NOT show Outlook is running. Office (2003) has been REPAIRED. Windows XP. SP3 just installed. Is there any history or reason for this problem? Thank you. |

I note that, even if send/receive is disabled, I can still SEND individual emails using the send button on the email. F9 also doesn't work. I still cannot RECEIVE because send/receive doesn't work. After rebooting, everything works until I close Outlook. "its_my_dime" (hold the .spam) wrote in message ... Outlook Send / Receive will only work after reboot on the first opening. More info:
Tool - Send/Receive - Send/Receive Settings - Define Send-Receive Groups Shows send all after reboot. Cannot access it at all after Outlook is closed and reopened. What controls this setting? Why does access to it disappear? How do I fix it? Thank you. "its_my_dime" (hold the .spam) wrote in message ... Outlook Send / Receive will only work after reboot on the first opening. This issue is with the send/receive group file that disappears when Outlook
is closed and reopened. I have, based on research, deleted the outlook.srs file (it automatically comes back) as well as creating a mirror "all" group in the send/receive file. Nothing seems to work. For whatever reason, access disappears when outlook is closed. Thoughts? "its_my_dime" (hold the .spam) wrote in message ... Outlook Send / Receive will only work after reboot on the first opening. I may have found the problem after extensive research.
Tools - options - other - advanced options - COM ad-ins. Something called Itunes Outlook Addn. I unchecked it and Outlook seems to be working. I have no idea what the program does, but clearly Outlook works better without it. "its_my_dime" (hold the .spam) wrote in message ... That has generally been my experience, yes.
