Vicky,
Why would you bother wasting time to reply to a two year old post just to say thank you to someone I can absolutely guarantee is not monitoring this thread anymore. When you graduated from high school (presuming you already have) did you send your 3rd grade teacher a thank you note for helping you solve your problems during the years ? I am glad someone has nothing better to do with their time ! "Vicky Kelder" wrote in message ... Realize this is an old post, but wanted to say big thank you for helping solve my problem which was similar to orginal poster. You may be asked if you want to create a mail account. Answer No. Outlook should open with a full set of folders but no account. You'll get the choice to continue with the no mail configuration. If you have an existing PST with contacts in it, use FileOpenOutlook Data File to open it. Open its Contacts folder, select all the items in that folder with Ctrl-A, then click EditCopy to Folder, specifying the default Contacts folder as the destintion. Do this with any folder in the old PST that contains data you want to keep, like the Calendar (although you'll need to display it in a table view before Ctrl-A will work). John,
You took my analogy literally. There is a difference between school and an anonymous newsgroup. I do have manners. I thanked my 3rd grade teacher when I graduated 3rd grade, not 2 years later. Answer this: Do you review two year old threads to find the ones that help you and then fire off thank you threads ? If not, I can infer two things; 1. none help you or 2. you don't have manners. Which is it ? Besides, there must be more people other than Vicky reviewing two year old threads. I don't see many thank yous coming through here. Does that mean that there are many people without manners ? Skiffle "John Nice" johnDOTniceATbtinternetDOTcom wrote in message ... It's called manners. Something you evidently didn't learn in 3rd grade; or any other grade, come to that. John "Bouncer" wrote in message ... Vicky, Why would you bother wasting time to reply to a two year old post just to say thank you to someone I can absolutely guarantee is not monitoring this thread anymore.
