What makes you think the corruption is in the pst-file in the first place?

The fact that it keeps crashing Outlook2003!
(This doesnt seem to happen to my colleagues)

Plus when I run SCANPST.EXE it usually finds errors...!

What is being logged to the Event Viewer?

Ah-ha that's a *good* question!
It looks like googledesktop is regularly causing trouble - though this
may be
unrelated. In any case I *LOVE* my GoogleDesktop - I cant live without
it.
But it might not like the fact that I have to copy my whole PST file
between
PCs when I work in different locations. Hmmm might be worth
uninstalling
GoogleDesktop and downloading a fresh version?? Unless that is you can
find me something that searches as well/fast as Googledesktop (which
though
fast isnt very good at filtering!)

Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.8010.0, stamp 43d16d53,
faulting module googledesktopoffice.dll, version 0.0.0.0, stamp
44258f05, debug? 0, fault address 0x0002128d.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Do things work correctly in Outlook Safe Mode?

Dont know - How do I get that to fire up?

Google is indeed your issue. You might indeed want to check wether you are
running their latest version. FWIW; I use Windows Desktop Search myself.

What's Windows Desktop Search exactly - and how well does it work for
you?
I think I tried it a while back and didnt like it.
How does it compare with the google desktop?

There is a new version out just released. You may want to give it another try - it works very well and I was having issues with Google as well and uninstalled it.

You start Outlook with the /SAFE program switch, e.g.
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\Outlook.exe" /SAFE
