Default Shortcuts to Calendars

A client has 2 new people on her calendar. She can access the calendars but
wants them in her shortcut pane. She doesn't have them in her folders.
Normally i would just drag them into the shortcuts from the folders but how
do i do it if they aren't in her folder list?

Thanks

Chris

Version of outlook? They should be on outlook 2003's other calendar
section - otherwise you can't add them to the outlook bar unless they are a
secondary mailbox in the profile.

Actually, yes you can. On a machine that does have the target Calendar in
its Outlook folder list, like the owner's computer, do a right-click drag of
the Calendar folder to the desktop, or any Windows folder, and select copy
from the pop-up menu. This creates an xnk file which functions as a link to
the calendar. Get that file to any other computer and drag it to the Outlook
shortcut pane, and you get a working shortcut, assuming permissions allow
it. It's not entirely satisfactory though, as it always opens the calendar
in a separate window.
