I have a Japanese version of Windows XP. I am able to download and set up
the latest English version of Internet Explorer, but the problem is that Outlook Express remains in Japanese. I am wondering if anyone can give me specific information on how to download and set up an English version of Outlook Express? |

Outlook Express comes as part of Internet Explorer - it is not a separate
download. "Okanemochi" wrote in message ... I have a Japanese version of Windows XP. I know it comes bundled with IE. What I want to know is how to force it to
set up the English version of Outlook Express. If you don't have this specific information, don't bother responding. Before XP, you could download English for most of OE but not any more. Alias |

While you may be able to use the English-language version IE7 RC1, OE is
tied to your Japanese-language version of Windows. To get OE in English, you'll need to install an English-language version of Windows. I'm sure you're aware that there's a Japanese-language version of IE7 RC1. When IE7 is released, the Japanese-language version will be offered to you by Windows/Microsoft/Automatic Updates if you're still running the Japanese-language version of Windows XP. (No, you will not be forced to install it.) There will not be an OE7. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE, Security, Shell/User) Okanemochi wrote: I have a Japanese version of Windows XP.
