Hi. I'm new to this so please be patient with me. I have my primary
calendar with my personal work committments/tasks but wish to set up a new calendar to be sent out to all our employees with the work program for each day. I can set up the new calendar but the only problem is that it automatically copies everything from my personal/primary calendar. How do I stop them from seeing this - I'm sure they don't really care what my workload is each day! Also - whenever I delete the task in the new calendar which has come across from my primary calendar it deletes the original entry as well. Any help would be much appreciated. |

How are you setting it up? The calendars should be totally separate and
nothing should be linked. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. It shouldn't be copying anything from your personal calendar. if you are
doing the copying, use a category to mark the ones to be copied so they are easier to identify. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. I'm not intentionally copying anything. All I do is set up a new calendar
and all the tasks etc are already there! Is there somewhere I should be clicking to stop this from happening? Or is there another way to set up a calendar? It sounds like you are doing it correctly, but there is no way for it to
populate with existing data automatically. Are you sure you are looking at the correct folder? Go to folder list (Ctrl+6) to verify. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
