Default cancel recurring meeting

I followed instructions for cancelling a recurring meeting. After going into
Recurrence and selecting an end by date, the instructions tell you to click
ok, the go to Send Update on the standard toolbar. Send update is no where
to be found. Only accept, decline, propose new time, etc. Is this a known
issue with these instructions or am I crazy?

Did you send out the original meeting request? ie do you own the meeting as
its organiser?

You can easily delete all occurrences on your Calendar. If you want to
delete it for all attendees, that must be done by the meeting organiser.

Yes, I am the organizer, but I am also an attendee. In that case, do I do
something different to cancel a recurring meeting?

if you own it, delete it and it will prompt you to send updates
(cancellations) to all attendees.

Imagine if every Thursday your shoes exploded if you tied them the usual
way. This happens to us all the time with computers, and nobody thinks of
complaining.
