Neither does Outlook. Outlook's Address Book is simply a view of your
Contacts. Always has been. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "LinK" wrote in message ... My question is as I first stated in message #1 ... I don't have an address book ... Have you added the Outlook Address Book Service to this profile? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "LinK" wrote in message ... Hi Russ, I've been trying to help myself and see how busy you've been. You sure help a lot of people. Thought I would post more information ... By "resolved addresses," I think you mean when they appear as 'live' links in Contacts. All of my email addresses are underlined (live links). I right clicked on Contacts folder, went to Properties Outlook Address Book and the name of the address book is "Contacts" and "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book" is checked, however greyed-out. Are you certain you configured this folder as an email address book? If so, open an Contact and see if it has a resolved electronic address. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "LinK" wrote in message ... I imported a .csv address book from Windows Live Mail and it appeared in Outlook 2007 as contacts. So, when I create a new message and click on To: it says No entries in this Address Book! The drop down menu indicates Outlook Address Book and Contacts are availble under Outlook Address Book and then I can select an email address. How can I get my Contacts to also be my Address Book? Thanks! |

Thanks!
In an attempt to fix what wasn't broken, I added the Outlook Address Book service. and now I have two instances one is marked differently with a (1) The one without the (1) says (send from this account by default). Would it be safe to delete one? If so, would you delete the one that has the (1)? Thanks again, LinK "Gordon" wrote: "LinK" wrote in message ... My question is as I first stated in message #1 ...
