You can only import from OE when it is installed on the same partition. You
cannot import a WAB file. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Harvey" wrote in message ... Trying to import WAB file from another computer to new Outlook 2007. I can run import but it doesnt ask where file is so it does nothing. |

Russ-
I'm a fairly savvy computer person. But, I dont know what you mean by 'partition'. I have moved the WAB file from old computer to my new vista/outlook 2007 computer. Since OE doesnt come with vista or office 2007, I'm not sure why the import option would allow you to reference OE unless there's a way to do it! (or, am I just being too logical?). Could I build a 'fake' OE directory structure and just put this file in it? Or, is it looking in one of the Outlook folders? Or, do I need to export and import a csv file? Painfully slowly information trickles in. So now we know you are using
Vista. Now we know you are using Windows Mail and not Outlook Express. You will now need to migrate your former Outlook Express files to Windows Mail so you can import them into Outlook. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Harvey" wrote in message ...
