Let me ask a qustion with an example
I hace 5 contacts in Outlook - Export them to Excel - I add 1 Contact in the Spreadsheet then reimport it back to Outlook. I was expecting the new contact to appear in Outlook, but it didnt happen. On the Other hand I DELETED a contact from the Excel spreadsheet; but whe I Imported it back the contact was STILL THERE....... hroif Thanks |

Adding a contact to Excel etc
Make sure you change the named range to include all of your contacts instead of the original group of 5. The export process will create a "named range" for the items exported. If you added a row at the end of the list - won't be included automatically. Contact still there after deleting from Excel? You wrote "was STILL THERE..." - there = where exactly?. If referring to contact folder, will always be there unless you delete it from the contact folder. Importing via the Outlook import wizard is only going to add the contacts.
