I am new to this Discussion Group
Using Outlook 2003 with XP My list of contacts is maintained on a server. I have transferred from a laptop to a desktop and have access to my contacts originally set up on the laptop. However on opening Outlook Contacts the customised categories are now not accessible from the desktop. I anticipate that they are stored in a file somewhere on the 'C' drive of the laptop. Can anybody help me find the file so I can transfer it? I have entered a lot of new categories and I really do not want to re-enter them again. I am sure this is not a new problem but have tried searching the knowledgebase to no avail. |

They aren't stored in a file. They are stored in the registry:
