HELP HELP - Importing Contacts from Excel List
I have imported a Contact list of Excel. But when I look in my address book
under Contacts my list is not complete. Is there a limit to how many contacts you can import? I have over 2000. Also is there a way to eliminate the "file" version of the contact I just want the name, ph and fx number to show. My Excel sheet consists of three columns Name, ph and fx number. I would like to get this rights others will need to import the same list to their address book. Thank you.

No such limit. It appears you did not import correctly.
Look in your Contacts Folder and see. Are the email addresses mapped to the correct field? Are they valid and resolved? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "TotallyConfused" wrote in message ... I mapped the field correctly. I did not use an email address on these
contacts we do not need only need name, ph and fax numbers. If the list is not showing when I open the address book and go to contacts then where would they be? Only electronic addresses appear in the Outlook Address Book.

Underlined. That indicates Outlook recognizes them as valid electronic
