How do you get the name of the distriubution list to appear in the TO line
instead of all the names in the list. When I send a message to one of my distriubtion lists I select the list name and that appears in the TO line. However when the recipient gets the message all of the member names appear in the TO line. |

You may want to look at PersonalizedEmails 4Outlook.
http://www.addins4outlook.com/personalizedemails It will create a separate e-mail for each person in your list so each person only sees their own name in the list. You can also personalized the subject and body of the e-mail with the person's name. Best of all it takes 30 seconds to learn. -- Regards Sanjay Singh --------------------------------------------- Gain Time by Making Outlook do the Work http://www.Addins4Outlook.Com --------------------------------------------- The Complete E-mail Filing Solution http://www.Outlook4Lawyers.com --------------------------------------------- "Jules" wrote in message ... Correct. That's how Outlook is designed. It will not display the name of the
DL. If for some reason you think you need to do that, then create a dummy Contact with the name of the DL as its display name and put that in the To: field. Then put the real DL in the BCC field. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Jules" wrote in message ...
