Default Outlook Distribution Lists

Is there a way to update Distribution Lists with new email addresses, etc.
without having to go to each List? It seems that if I change a Contact's
email address that information is not propogated into a Distribution List
which contains that Contact. The same situation applies if I delete a
Contact. I would assume the Contact would no longer be in the Distribution
List, but I have to delete them out of each DL.
