I recently installed Windows Service Pack 3 and Microsoft Office 2003 on a
computer and now all of this persons emails are showing up as plain text. I found the option in Outlook 2003 that says "Read all standard mail in plain text" but it was NOT checked and even if I check the option, exit Outlook, open Outlook, uncheck the option, close Outlook and then reopen Outlook it still will not allow me to view HTML emails as HTML. I also noticed this happening on another machine that I installed Windows XP Service Pack 3 but DID NOT upgrdate Microsoft Office and Outlook XP is doing the same thing on that machine. Is there a registry hack that I can use to get this working again as it is supposed to be??
