I am using Outlook 2007 with a remote IMAP server. Outlook OFTEN loads and
hangs with 'Send/Receive status 52%'. I then close Outlook and re-open it and if OFTEN goes right to 100% and says 'Send/Receive complete'. Turned on 'Enable Logging (troubleshooting). When it hangs, the log file contains sometimes 150 messages, other times 250 messages with no rhyme or reason why it stops. Here's an example of the last few lines in the log file. Outlook will then hang forever with no further updates to the log file. MAP: 23:10:51 [rx] * 245 FETCH (FLAGS (\Seen) UID 7454) IMAP: 23:10:51 [rx] * 246 FETCH (FLAGS (\Answered \Seen) UID 7455) IMAP: 23:10:51 [rx] * 247 FETCH (FLAGS (\Answered \Seen) UID 7456) IMAP: 23:10:51 [rx] * 248 FETCH (FLAGS (\Answered \Seen) UID 7457) IMAP: 23:10:51 [rx] * 249 FETCH (FLAGS (\Answered \Seen) UID 7458) I've increased the server timeouts time to no avail. Been digging for quite some time to resolve this problem. Lots of users chasing me about it. Suggestions would be welcome. Wayne Hann |
