How to ask a question: http://support.microsoft.com/KB/555375 "Boppy" wrote in message ... Hi guys, installing SP1 killed my notebook. The technician was able to take out the hard drive and put a new one in. The old drive has the old data on it. However, I cannot find my previous Outlook data file. My main email is through an Exchange server but old data has gone from my former pop3 account. It was quite difficult to get some of the Users/Jo data because it seems that Vista removed this as a security feature. However, I've managed to get some of my old app data back, just having trouble with Outlook. I've done a search for *.pst and *.ost files to no avail. Is there any other search term I should try to find the data file? Thanks in advance, Jo |
