Is there a way to connect to msnews.microsoft.com from Outlook 2007. Much

Diane is right, of course, and if you're considering 3rd party programs let
me put in a kind word for NewsHound from Shoreline Software. I found it to
be quite good.

It's a long time since I tried all the major NNTP add-ins for Outlook, but
none of them provided all the functions that a dedicated news reader
did......so I didn't use any of them after a trial period.

I believe, although as I say, it was a long time ago, that the filtering and
threading wasn't as good.

And in addition to what Diane said, having used most of them, IMHO they are
not half as good as a proper news reader.

actually, newshound isn't too bad. It also pulls in the technet and msdn
forums.
