How shall I stop messages popping up about new mail arrival?

click on Tools, Options, Email options, Advanced Email options....from here

In Advanced Email options there are only two options dealing with what to happen when new mail arrives: 1. Play sound 2. It's not in the Advanced email options then. Tools Options E-mail Options

That's why we asked what version is being used. In *Outlook 2003*, it's under E-Mail Options - Advanced E-mail Options. I guess the general answer is, it's somewhere around E-mail Options. ![]() |
