I just upgraded from Office Standard 2003 to Office Standard 2007. It
installed fine and when I opened outlook for the first time it wanted me to install Desktop search, so I closed outlook and installed Desktop Search. When I re-opened Outlook it complained that the MindManager Add-in was not working properly and wanted me to disable it. I said no. Then Outlook loaded and when it seemed to be finished loading it started alternating between the arrow and the hourglass rapidly and running really slow. I closed Outlook, restarted the computer and tried it again and the same behavior. It does it every time and renders Outlook unusable. Should I uninstall Windows Search? Mindmanager? Office? ... How can I force Outlook to disable Add-ons? Any other suggestions? |

Either uninstall MindManager or see if they have a compatible update for
Outlook 2007. Outlook informed you there was a problem with MindManager, you don't have to look any further for the problem. -- Ken Slovak [MVP - Outlook] http://www.slovaktech.com Author: Absolute Beginner's Guide to Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 Reminder Manager, Extended Reminders, Attachment Options http://www.slovaktech.com/products.htm "PeterH" wrote in message oups.com...
