Exporting from Outlook 2002 to Import into Outlook 2003
I am looking for advice on the best export method for my Personal Folders
(e-mail, contacts, calendar, etc...) from Outlook 2002, so that I can import them on my new PC which will have Outlook 2003. I tried exporting a .pst file from 2002, but when I went to import it with 2003 it did not give the option to import a .pst file. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I will be sunk if I can not import the last 7 years of my life! -- Shaggy

The best advice is to stop thinking that you need to export or import. See this: http://www.howto-outlook.com/howto/backupandrestore.htm Once you're using your old PST in the new Outlook, you can then make a controlled transition (again without importing or exporting) to a Unicode PST, as described numerous times in this and other Outlook newsgroups.
