contact information is missing in my address book

Default contact information is missing in my address book

I have added new contacts in my contacts directory, but they do not show in
my address book, but all of the older conacts do. The additions are all there
when I check my contact listing... Any ideas?

Do you have more than one contact-type folder?

No. Just the one contact folder
