New Outlook user. I don't use the email, just
appts/contacts/tasks/notes. I switched to Outlook from a PIM I used for
years and synced with my iPaq (2003SE). My migration was simply to
change ActiveSync settings to include the uses listed above, as all my
data was on the PDA. It worked just fine, everything transferred and
new updates are flawless.

Here's the problem. In ANY Calendar View, my PAST appts are all
"visible" (the dates are bolded in the sidebar calendar and they show up
in day/week/month views), and the NEW appts I schedule using Outlook are
visible, but the FUTURE appts I migrated into Outlook aren't in the
sidebar calendar (their dates aren't bold) and don't show up in the
various calendar views. If I click right on dates and times that I know
I have appts they show as blank.

However -- if I switch to Month View and scroll back a month or two (all
past appts visible), then scroll forward into Sept, Oct etc -- NOW these
appts are visible, but they still don't generate a bold date in the
sidebar calendar.

WTF??? I can tell that all of these future appointments are in Outlook,
and they are listed on my PDA, so why does Outlook treat them
differently? I haven't changed ANY of my settings, at least not
deliberately, as I'm brand new to the app.
