Default Any way to lock or password protect appts in Outlook 2003?

I am one of two people to calendar for a group of executives an I want to
make sure that an appointment or reucurring appt does not get deleted. Is
there any way to lock for password protect an appt/meeting?

Default Any way to lock or password protect appts in Outlook 2003?

Mailbox or public folder? You can't remove delete permissions from the
mailbox owner but can control it in public folders.

It is a public folder. What can I do?
