Hi,
We use Outlook XP and 2003, with Exchange 2003. We have a problem where people's calendars are not automatically updating with meetings that they have been invited to, but not accepted or declined. It seems to be related to calendar permissions. That is, people have permissions set to "None" for Default and anonymous. When I change the permissions to "Contributor" in my Outlook, I am able to see tentative meetings. What should the permissions be set to? I've read a few different things... Also, is there a way to make a global change for everyone's calendars? Thanks! Jeff |

In 2003 if a person is invited to a meeting it only apears in their inbox. Only when they take some action on it is the appointment created in the users calendar. That's one of the big wow/selling type factors in 2007. |

Thanks for your reply, Mark!
How come I am able to see tentative meetings if I change the Default and Anonymous permissions to "Contributor"? Is there a way to set these permissions without opening up everyone's Outlook preferences? Thanks! Jeff "Mark Arnold [MVP]" wrote in message ... See tentative meetings where? In your own Calendar folder? Someone else's?
Get the free PFDavAdmin tool from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...4-E2422C0AB424. It can manage mailbox folder permissions, as well as public folder permissions. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.turtleflock.com/olconfig/index.htm and Microsoft Outlook Programming - Jumpstart for Administrators, Power Users, and Developers http://www.outlookcode.com/jumpstart.aspx "Jeff Anonymous" wrote in message ...
