In my outlook 2003, my personal folders appears double, I have tried to
remove one using the knowledge article below but so far no succes.

(my pst file was upgrade from outlook 2000 a long time ago, I did move it
from another PC like a year ago, it was on different places on my disk(s),
never any problems)
the two presonal folders point to the same location/pst file, if a e-mail
comes in, it shows up in both, contacts show up in both.... I cannot rename
any of them, not close any of them, strnagly enough ,
in the menu option files, data file management they sho up both as being a
97-2003 file (might be a MS bug as the file has been working fine in 2003
for years)

How do I remove the second link in my outlook, please advise?

You have corrupted your mail profile, either by copying your PST around or
by importing a PST. Create a new one and point it at your existing PST.
