Default Confusion over Conversation view

Hi

I am using the Arrange byConversation option in my Outlook 2003 Inbox.

At http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/as...356671033.aspx it shows
'entire conversations' in a drop-down tree. But how is this possible? All
my messages from the conversation are stored over in the Sent Items folder,
not Inbox, therefore I don't see the 'entire conversation', I only see the
other people's replies.

Am I missing something? How is this normally achieved, so one can see the
whole thread - sent and received?

Thanks,

it only uses the inbox - so your sent messages won't be included. if you
right click on a message you can find related messages and that will include
sent messages.

What about creating a search folder to combine all the data from both Inbox and Sent Items?

Hmm, that's what I thought, thanks. The link I provided seems to say
otherwise that's all.
