Losing subscriptions
Some time ago, I noticed that OE 6 was losing ALL the subscriptions to
particular newaccounts. In particular: news.grc.com news.motzarella.org And most strangely news.mv.net. This one is strange because I hacw two other accounts that also use news.mv.net. In some cases, I resubscribed, but again lost the subscriptions. Is there a fix? -- http://www.standards.com/; See Howard Kaikow's web site.

Losing subscriptions
Newsgroup subscriptions are kept in folders.dbx. You can delete folders.dbx
and a new one will be created. Sub-folders will no longer display as sub-folders, but will display as folders. It may be better to create a new Identity. That will generate a new folders.dbx also. that some (or all) newsgroups no longer exist.
