Default Enternet Explorer Browser Problem

I have a two year old HP with XP OS Home Edition. Until just a few
weeks ago my browser was always blank until I made an entry which was
just fine. Now as soon as I click on the Intenet Exporer Icon and go to
my browser- Bingo !! http://hp.netscape.com/hp1.adp has taken over my
browser with a full page of ads and then resists when I try to enter or
select a site of my choice.
It is very annoying and denying me use of my browser. How do I go about
choking it to death.?

Default Enternet Explorer Browser Problem

Thanks PA BEAR, But I couldn't enter either site(link).
I searched for ways to uninstall Netscape but can't find any options to
do it. Am I the only one experiencing this problem with Netscape
Browser?
