Default group email problem

i am attempting to send group emails to our karate students (about 145
addresses), but test emails are not being received. i have set up the group
list, set up a separate group with 1/5 of the addresses to test that option
(didn't work), and contacted our internet service provider (cox). the
problem still exists.

we are on our own server.

thanks for any help.

I use Cox, (cox.west). I don't have any groups, but I do BCC up to about 30
people at a time.

When you created the group, did you use a legitimate address? IOW, did you
name the group in the Display field and /also/ enter a real e-mail address
in that field?

An example would be to create a group named Karate Class and in the Address
Field enter: assuming that is your address.

I don't know if 145 recipients is above the Cox limit, but certainly 25
should be no problem.

Do you get any error messages when you try to send?

Default group email problem

Have you ever been able to send one (1) message to 145 recipients?

Does a copy of your message appear in Sent Items folder (assuming you have
the option enabled)?
