Default New to Group Need Help with Microsoft Outlook Problem

Hi! I'm Susan and I've just joined the group. I have a mysterious
problem with Microsoft Outlook 2002. I had a lot of sub folders of my
In Box. One of them contained a lot of emails, maybe 150 or more.
When I got up from my desk to go do something (only gone for a few
minutes!), I came back the folder is gone. I've searched every place
and it is completely gone. Can anyone please help me?!? It is
important that I retrieve this folder if possible. Thanks so much.

Expand your folder list by clicking on the + signs until you see your folder - it is possible that you moved it.

After furious head scratching, Susan asked:

I tried that first, for about an hour (because I have a lot of folders
to look through). It's simply gone. It's also not in my deleted
folder and I have not emptied it because now I'm afraid to :-( It
seems as if it vanished! I actually had this happen to me once about 6
months ago. That time it was also a folder with a lot of mail in it,
most of them unread. When I receive hundreds of emails in a short
period of time, I simply sort them into folders for reading later when
I do have time. Both times the folders were very full of unopened
emails. Possibly the size of the folder was the issue that caused the
problem. However, that still doesn't help me find it! Any ideas?

Do you remember any of the senders or subjects of the emails? Can you try an Advanced Find using that criteria to locate the folder?
