Default Outlook Express group email problem

I have a problem sending email to a Club group of 60 addresses. Bellsouth
tells me I should be able to send a message to approx. 280 addresses in one
group without a problem, but that is not the case. If I split the group into
three new groups (25,25 and 10) the first two groups get the message, the
third group does not. I thought my McAfee virus system might be the cause -
but it persists even if i switch McAfee off.
What to do?

It sounds like your group of ten has a bad email address in it.
One bad address will stop a message from going to all addresses.

Do you get an error message when this happens? If so, please post it in its
entirety.

Start a new message.
Put the group name in the To field.
Save to Drafts.
Go to Drafts.
Open the email to a composition window.
Right click on each name, Properties.
Check each name to make sure the address is correct.

No - I do not get an error message - the email appears in my "Sent" folder,
but is not received by addressees.

Ron. I think the "bad email address" probably WAS the problem. I tried
sending a new email to each of the "ten", with myself as a second addressee.
I received all of them except one - when I removed that name from the group
it all worked!
Thanks for your help.

So when you sent to each address in the group of ten, the messages showed in
Sent Items, but you didn't receive a reply from each address.

It had to be one or more of the ten addresses, because you didn't have
problems with the groups of twenty.

Glad you got it fixed.
