This AM we had a power outage of a second or two which shut down the
computer. At the time we were using Outlook Express and the main identity. When we rebooted and went back to OE 6.0 we could not send or receive email because OE presented a logon pop-up that asked for a password. There is no password requirement for this user. I even added a password in Manage Identities and that would not work either. BTW, switching to a second identity in OE, everything works normally. This is a home stand alone computer. I expect that I need to reinstall OE, but when I try through updates, MS tells me that everything is up to date and I cannot go further. Anyone have any ideas of what I need to do? -- Bob J |
