Default email travel itinerary entering outlook calendar

Hi there.
When my husband emails me his travel itinerary on travel software, it
automatically adds HIS travel to MY outlook calendar. Is there a way to shut
this off, so his travel plans don't show up on my calendar? Somehow Outlook
is reading the hyperlinks, and adding his travel plans to my calendar,
interfering with my own appointments.

Thanks

When you get the item, do you have to accept it like it was an appointment?
