How are you sending it? In what format? If you change formats, does it make
a difference? Do you have an antivirus program scanning outgoing mail or does
she have one scanning incoming mail?

When: Saturday, May 22, 2010 8:00 AM-11:00 AM (GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada).
Whe HOME vs. LI Prospects

This is what the invite shows up as - but it a plain email. There are no email filters - and the format is the same i use for all my meetings. in fact, it used to work.

The message is not getting sent as RTF or the TNEF encoding is getting
deleted. Double click on your wife's address in the to field and set it to
always use RTF. If this doesn't fix it and you use Exchange at work, then
the work server is converting all RTF messages to html.

that was it!! Outlook was "selecting the best format". i changed it to RTF. is there a way i can default that to all attendees? or do i have to do that for each? Thanks a bunch - this was an issue for a while.

after having it work a few times - it seems to have resorted back. Even though i select RTF - it comes in as email. I made the change in my contacts - would that affect it?

The "Let Outlook decide" setting means that the main setting in
ToolsOptionsMail Format will be used. The per-contact setting overrides the
main setting. If the per-contact value fails, then you have something
affecting the message after it leaves Outlook. This can be either Exchange,
if you use that, an email scanner looking at outgoing messages, the
recipient's mail server, or a scanner on the recipient's PC looking at
incoming messages.
