I don't care when I received it, I need to find it easier by when I deleted
the message. I can't seem to get userdefined category to showup as a column.

Hi Buck,

categories are only shown if you assigned them. If you right click in
the top line with field names you can select "field chooser" and
select Categories. That should show the categories field.
You can create Outlook rules assigning categories when they arrive so
you can search for them later. You might want to take a look at the
plug in Taglocity doing just that in more refined version and easy to
use. Gives you easier possibility to search too.

There is no deletion field, but if you go into the deleted items box
you can use the field chooser to select "Modified" which should
represent the deletion date as this would be the last modifcation of
your mail.
