I have what may be a similar problem: While using OL 2002, the system
stalled. after Closing and then Opeing the program, the Auto Complete no
longer works. Will this work-around solve the problem?

In MS Outlook, go to tools, options, mail setup, send/receive. Uncheck the

options back to the original settings. Remember to put your mail settings
back and plug in your removed cables.

Outlook folder backup which is just the .pst file).....so it looks like

Hard to say. NK2 files are pretty sturdy, but you definitely did a bad
thing
to it (something one I've never seen before). Search for NK2 files and
see
if you have any that match the size of the one you had before it became
corrupted.
Did it contain a large number of entries that are not in your Contacts?
If
not, it won't be difficult to recreate it. You can even recreate it
without
the utility.
