... When sending a message, autocomplete will fill in the name of a distribution list, but the distribution list is not in my contacts folder. Where else could it be stored? I have tried "find" in the address book too. I need to update it or replace it. I am using Outlook 2003 on XP, and it is not exchange. It is stored only in the autocompletion cache. I suspect that is was contained in a message sent to you and to which you replied. If you compose a new message, let the DL autocomplete, the tab out of the recipient list, does the DL name resolve (become underlined)? If so, does it have a plus sign to its left? If so, click the plus sign to expand it and you should be able to make a local DL with the results or add them to your Contacts folder. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |
