Hello All,
Outlook v10 I've got a client trying to create a distribution list from a large list of contacts. She wants to be able to send emails by state. Example; create a distribution list to everyone with an AZ address. After looking through here and trying unsuccessfully for an hour or so I've decided to see if you have any suggestions on how to solve this. Thanks in advance. Marc Simpson |

![]() I wouldn't use a distlist for that. In the contacts folder, you can group your categories by state. Then you can drag a group to the inbox to add the contacts as recipients to an e-mail. -- Best regards Michael Bauer - MVP Outlook : Outlook Categories? Thanks for your response Michael.
In the contact screen, yes I can view by state then drag a group of contacts into the address field of an email. However, it bringing in all the info for each recipient, not just email addresses. (which Outlook can't process or just discard) Am I describing your suggestion correctly or am I doing something wrong?
