Default Creating one distribution list from another

I have a distribution list with about 300 names. How can I create a new
distribution list with just a subset of those 300 without re-entering all the
names & email addresses?

Thank you.

Make a copy of the first list, then edit the copy, renaming it and removing/adding members.

Well, they're mostly obvious.

1) Open the DL.
2) Choose File | Copy to Folder.
3) Look at the folder to confirm that the copy is there.
4) On the open DL, change the name.
5) Change the members.
6) Click Save and Close.

Great! I followed your steps, and now my original distribution list is gone.
How can I recover it?

Thank you.
