I am using office 2007 and Vista.
The search function does not search the notes section. Is there a fix to this? I have found some other threads that don't seem to come up with a solution. Any held would be appreciated. |

Same as always. Just use the tried and true Advanced Find for those fields
that aren't indexed. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "gmsully" wrote in message ... I am using office 2007 and Vista. The search function does not search the notes section. Is there a fix to this? Hi Russ,
That was already tried. It looks like my "notes" field has not indexed. I am also not able to add it in the advanced find, add criteria section. "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Same as always. Can't reproduce your problem. Advanced Find works fine here. The only time
it fails is if your Contacts were created if earlier versions of Outlook and the Note fields are in RTF format. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "gmsully" wrote in message ... My contacts were created from an earlier version of Outlook, but I have added
many new contacts to this version and the notes section of them is not searchable either. How can I fix it? How can I tell if they are a RTF format? You can't, but Instant Search should work once your fields are indexed.
