I have an employee in my office who would like to share quite a few Outlook
contacts with memebers of our office, but does not want to share his entire contacts folder. Is it possible? We have the exchange 2003 server and are running Office 2003. -- Janette |

Drop-down list next to the attachment paperclip icon in the open message

You could also create a separate contacts folder in your mailbox and share that. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

Thank you both for your responses, but copying the contacts to a different
folder and sharing that folder doesn't work. When the person trys to open the folder - it states that the folder could not be opened. I thought I read something somewhere that only the default main folders could be shared and not folders that have been added. Is there another work around or did I do this wrong. -- Janette "Janette" wrote: I have an employee in my office who would like to share quite a few Outlook contacts with memebers of our office, but does not want to share his entire contacts folder. Are you creating this Contact folder in Public folders and assigned the appropriate permissions?
-- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without reading.
