Default Custom Form

I had created custom form but it does not act as a default form. When I tried
to enter details like business phone number or any other details I used to
double click and it shows area code and other details but this custom form
does not act like a default form.

Also, when I enter all the details in a custom form and save it and again
that entry then it view in a custom form but it is opening in a default form
i.e. microsoft outlook form.

Please help me the matter.

Default Custom Form

Your first issue is a known side-effect of customizing the main page of a contact form. See http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=21

As for the second issue, how are you creating the contact in the first place? Where is the form published? What does the Help | About This Form dialog tell you? It should show the form name and version number.

FYI, there is a newsgroup specifically for Outlook forms issues "down the hall" at microsoft.public.outlook.program_forms or, via web interface, at http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...rogram_f orms
