Default Display names in send e-mail "To" dialog box with last name first

When I go to write an e-mail in Outlook 2007, I open the "To" list and out
pops the names in my contacts list- problem is I can't figure how to change
the display to last name first (even though I've set up the names to display
last name first when I open the Contacts folder) Also, I can't figure out
how to get other contact lists that are subfolders in contacts to appear as
an option when I use the "To" in the "New Message" screen- any ideas?

Depends on your version of Outlook. For Outlook 2002/2003, click
ToolsE-mail AccountsView or change existing directories or address
booksNext. Select Outlook Address Book and click Change. Select the sort
order there.

Also, I can't figure out how to get other contact lists that are

the "New Message" screen- any ideas?

Right-click each of the contacts folders, choose Properties, select the
Outlook Address Book tab, and click the box labeled "Show this folder as an
e-mail Address Book".

Thank you. I now can use all my contact subfolders in the send email "To"
dialog page but in my Outlook 2007 that dialog page still sorts contacts by
first name, even though I made the change suggested (and when I view the
contacts in the contact l;ists they are sorted by last name) Any further
ideas? Thanks

Even after restarting Outlook, when I click "To" in the new message page I
get the "Select Names" dialog box that sorts names only by first names with
no obvious way to change to sorting by last name. When I open those same
contact lists under "Contacts" they appear sorted by last name. I can't be
the only one?
Thanks
