I have been using MS outlook for a long time now. In my desktop, I have
had a function turned on : "when replying to an email, the email
address of the person replied to gets automatically entered into the
address book".

Now, I have a laptop with MS Outlook 2003. I cant find where or how to
turn this function on...nned help...guidance,

Regards,

Outlook 2003 has no such feature. See http://www.slipstick.com/contacts/addauto.htm for various ways to save senders or recipients as new contacts automatically, depending on your version and configuration of Outlook.

Hi VK,

the Mcrosoft websites) are this tools:

or for existing emails: Public Mail 2 Contact for Outlook (freeware)

Public Mail 2 Contact is a freeware addin for Outlook It generates Outlook
contacts from existing e-mails and verifies whether the e-mail-address does
already exist as contact in Outlook.
