Did you do it this way:

start Outlook and then open the file from within Outlook using File| Open
|Outlook data file.

I hope this helps you .

Hi Judy,

I have a back-up from when I was running outlook 2000, but the system
crashed. I am trying to locate the file I need to import it into my Outlook
2003.

Can you help?

Chris

Do a search on .pst files and make sure to include hidden files. You should
find outlook.pst. Then open it as described in my earlier post.

And you will back up regularly now won't you!

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!
