I copied my PST file to my new machine that has Outlook 2003. Now when
I try and type an email and want to get to my contacts I get an error message - The address list could not be displayed. The contacts folder associated with this address list could not be opened.... Any help will be appreciated. |

Same thing is happening to me. After you get the error message do you get a
blank adress book with "contacts" in the dropdown box "show names from the:"? On mine if I click the dropdown box I see all of my contacts as the second choice which I named default address book. It is my understanding that the "contacts" book is the default and can't be removed but it won't let me right click and add names to the contacts folder either.
