Default Updating the distibution lists - claims to lose old contacts speci

After I have transferred my contacts to my new PC - When I go into each
distriution list (related group of names and emails) and click on "Update
Now" the distibution lists claims it has lost the connection to the
individual contact's (phone numbers, etc) so I have to go through the
"selecting members" for each entry. There must be an easier way to correct
this error. Please Help! Thanks!

How did you transfer your Contacts? You likely did so incorrectly.

Importing will always cause this. Opening a .pst file does not. I suspect you imported rather than copying your .pst file and opening it.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without

After furious head scratching, Ukali asked:
